Pray for Mocoe & Flicka, please?

Approximately 10 weeks ago, I discovered a wounded cow on 250 acres across the street from the ranch.  She could barely walk, with 3 huge flesh wounds on her, and I have worked to develop her trust ever since.  Last week, I was able to get her to tow to the road, then follow a trail of “cow cubes” through the front gate of the ranch.  She’s been living with us since.  Yesterday, in a rush to get fly repellant on her neck and back, I spooked her.  She jumped backwards away from me and caught her foot/leg on roots of tree. This resulted in her not putting any weight on the leg.  It horrified me and took some heavy duty self talk, Word of God, de-escalation by my neighbor and Steve, to get me trust God in the matter. I did everything I could.

I had left two messages for local veterinarians and still have not heard from either of them over 24 hours later.  I found myself reminding God that He entrusted me with her, she was His, and I was believing His Word that says when I abide in Him that I can ask for anything and He will do it.  I am believing He will heal, protect, and provide for her.  Much to my relief she was putting weight on it again this morning.  Please agree with me, in the name of Jesus, that she would heal and be healthy throughout her entire body.  Pray she gain weight and if she’s pregnant, for the calve to be healthy.

This afternoon, Mocoe, got into a fight with a raccoon he came across while I was riding.  He won, my gun wouldn’t shoot, and by the time it quieted down I was missing my phone, horse, and dog.  Awe, how God posititions me to be totally reliable on Him.  I treated the scratches on Mocoe’s face with Betadine I had left over from Spirit’s castration.  He’s tired and we’re watching him closely, prepared to take him to the vet if his vitals change.  Your prayers appreciated for him, as well.

Meantime, the newsletter still hasn’t gone out because we can’t find an article referenced in it.  Thanks to my techie husband, he was able to figure out other technical problems with the images today.  We still have to fix those on this site.  As a recovering perfectionist, type A, the fact I’m at peace with it is nothing less than a MIRACLE of which I give all credit to God for.

Tomorrow morning, early (8:30), I’ve signed up for a “Connection Group” in an effort to connect with women in the local church God has us at currently.  Mixed feelings and thoughts about this new endeavor.

Since relocating, I miss having a group of mature Christian women to do life with like I had at Sanibel Community Church.  I’m hopeful for such meaningful relationships in this new aspect of my journey.

With confident trust in my heavenly Father, I’ll embrace the journey.

Thanks for reading and praying.  If there is anything I can pray for you about, please don’t hesitate to let me know.  Prayer is very POWERFUL and something that God has used to change my life and countless others.

In Christ’s love,

Julie
